Superintendent LeRoy Smith has led a 12 man crew across northwest US spanning from states such as Illinois and Missouri to Washington and back for the last several months. The team has completed liner cell contractions at every stop. These men have done a fantastic job meeting or exceeding productions throughout the course of a very wet summer season all while keeping safe and injury free.
Most recently, this crew finished up a 5 acre landfill cell expansion in southeast Missouri. The project consisted of 230,000 SF of 60-mil double sided textured liner and 16 ounce geotextile, and 200,00 SF of 8 ounce geotextile over a soil drainage layer. The geomembrane installation included a PVC to PVC and PVC to HDPE tie-ins. They also installed roughly 16,500 LF of rain flap.
