COMANCO Environmental recently wrapped up a 6-acre construction & debris landfill cell expansion in Northeast Florida. Dewatering, stripping & hauling, importing over 20,000 CY of clean soil fill, compacting and fine grading were the key components of this project. The final tasks consisted of a stormwater perimeter ditch being cut around the perimeter of the cell with an Access Road built across for the dump trucks. Supervisor, Nathan Wilfong, and crew did a great job finishing ahead of schedule and most importantly incident-free by maintaining a safety first mentality through duration of project.
