The Ft. Lauderdale Geosynthetics Installation includes:
- 362,125 square feet of 40 mil textured geomembrane liner
- 40,500 square feet of 300 mil geocomposite installation
- Road construction support systems
- A 10-foot by 10-foot sandbag ballast grid for liner protection
The sandbag ballast grid helps stabilize the installed liner system during construction and protects the geomembrane from uplift caused by wind and weather exposure. This additional protection is especially important during Florida’s rainy and storm-prone summer months.
