COMANCO has finished the bulk of subgrade preparation at an Ash Monofill facility in Ft. Lauderdale and continues to maintain excellent erosion control measures amidst the south Florida rainy season.
The original 7 man crew led by Superintendant Chase Yarbrough, has done an excellent job to this point battling the elements and continuing COMANCO’s safety culture day in and day out.
Superintendent Larry Graham and his 10 man crew have now begun geosynthectics install phase of this project. The liner work consists of 362,125 square feet of 40 mil textured liner, and 40,500 square feet of 300 mil geocomposite install accompanied by road construction. The crew is also installing a 10×10 foot sand bag ballast grid over the installed plastic.
