COMANCO Environmental Corporation is wrapping up the construction of a new landfill in Lake Panasoffkee, FL. The project started in May of this year and COMANCO has been working diligently with Stroud Engineering (CQA Engineer) and ACMS, Inc. (Owner) to produce a quality end product on schedule. Some key points of construction are: Two new cells with a bottom geosynthetic liner system approximately 15 acres each, two Leachate Collection Riser Sump Pads and a Leachate Storage Tank Area with six 44,000 gallon FRP leachate tanks. Work is scheduled to be complete by mid-December.
