COMANCO recently mobilized onsite at the Cedar Trail Landfill in Bartow, Florida to construct the Cell 7 Expansion. Currently, we have set up erosion control measures around the new Cell and have worked on improving the existing landfill roads by regrading them, installing a High Strength Woven Textile for support, and then placing a road base material on top. We have completed approximately 1,700 LF to-date, and will complete an additional 700 LF this week. We have also installed a new Rock Pad near the back of the landfill for a clean storage area for the landfill. The project team is led by Superintendent Bill Newman, Project Manager Matt Remmert, and Project Engineer Dan McRae. The project is expected to continue through the new year and be completed by Spring 2013. Please enjoy a few photos of the site!
