COMANCO has completed the Stage 3 liner installation at the Fort Knox Walter Creek Heap Leach Pad, in Fairbanks, Alaska. The crew this year has installed more than 1,114,000 SF of 80 mil double sided textured geomembrane LLDPE, over 11,000 SF of geosynthetic clay liner in Valley 1 and extrusion welded 2,660 LF of tie in welding to Stage 2. Now with the completion of Stage 3 behind them the COMANCO Crew has started work on Stage 4 with the same safety oriented mind set, efficiency and can do attitude that helps them keep moving forward on another successful project.
