COMANCO is in progress in Fairbanks, Alaska at Kinross Fort Knox Heap Leach Facility with the installation of 80 Mil Double Sided LLDPE and Geosynthetic Clay Liner (GCL). We are currently nearing the completion of stage 3 and looking forward to beginning of stage 4. COMANCO has been pushing forward on a daily basis to get this completed before the end of June 2012, while battling ever changing weather and long slopes, and the hopes are high.
COMANCO is looking to have a great summer in Alaska and continue its wonderful multi year relationship with Kinross.
