COMANCO Environmental has been contracted by Hutton Construction to extend the geomembrane liner system of 2 ponds at the OneOk Facility in Medford, OK. The existing 40-mil HDPE geomembrane system currently covers the ponds’ floors and runs up the slopes where it terminates at the crest. COMANCO will first fine grade the exposed sub-grade on the pond’s backside slopes, then install a geotextile cushion layer prior to deploying the new 40-mil HDPE liner. The tie-in of the new geomembrane to the existing will be accomplished by an extrusion weld. Approximately, 115,000 SF of new geotextile and 40-mil HDPE geomembrane will be installed in addition to the 2,600 LF of extrusion weld tie-in.
