COMANCO Rolls with the Changes in Mississippi

by

A liner crew led my Foreman Max Macedo is underway at a landfill north of Jackson, MS. From the start, they encountered a tricky tie into an existing cell, a few design alterations on the fly, and some schedule changes due to rain and subgrade approval issues. They haven’t lost a step, and are expected to finish almost a full week earlier than expected anyway!

GSE materials used on this job include smooth white 60 mil geomembrane on the floor and double-sided, textured 60 mil geomembrane on the slopes and sump. Once they finish the liner, an 8 oz geotextile will be sewn down for cover. COMANCO will be back for a second time to install a 4 oz UV resistant textile after a clay buffer is pushed.
