Ramon Irizarry is Now a Class-A CDL Driver for COMANCO
Driving a Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV) requires a high level of experience, knowledge, and physical capability. CDL Classified drivers are required to complete the following to receive their CDL Certification:
- Road Awareness and Operations Tests
- Combination Vehicles Tests
- Air Brakes Tests
- Endorsement Exams Tests
Additionally, Class-A CDL drivers must pass Pre-Trip Vehicle Inspection exams, Vehicle Control testing, and an On-Road Exam to evaluate their skills. With this in mind, COMANCO is proud to announce that Ramon Irizarry has met this high standard and has become a Class-A Commercial Driver.
That’s Heavy.
With his CDL Certification Class-A license, Ramon is credited with operating vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) of 26,001 pounds or more. Any vehicle with a weight rating above 26,000 stands among Medium Heavy Duty vehicles (Class 6-7). These heavy trucks take the most qualified and skilled professionals to operate on the industrial market.
COMANCO relies on these vehicles when loading and transporting construction equipment. This considerable responsibility requires the utmost attention to care, operation and safety standards.
