Superintendent Gary Mitchell and his crew have begun an erosion remediation project for a chemical company in Central Florida. COMANCO is tasked with cleaning the erosion area and placing a freshly compacted layer of gypsum on top of the existing liner. With limited access to the work area, COMANCO is utilizing a remote controlled roller to meet compaction requirements. Geocomposite will then be set in place with another layer of gypsum on top to help prevent future erosion issues. The crew will strive to complete the project with no incidents and on schedule.
