Community Involvement
COMANCO's headquarters are in Plant City, Fl right in the midst of "Bone Valley," the US's largest known phosphate rock deposit. The phosphate mining industry is one of our core markets and COMANCO takes pride in giving back to the local community that in turn support our business. COMANCO supports many education, sports and humanitarian institutions, such as the United Way, Mosaic Bartow Christmas Angels, and Scholarships by Florida Section of the Society for Mining, Metallurgy and Exploration. We also support the broader community of industries in which we work, through active participation in groups such as the Florida Phosphate Committee of Continuous Existence (FPCCE) and special events such as our 2008 sponsorship of SWANA's WasteCon.
