This week COMANCO started a project in Winter Springs, Florida at a Wastewater Treatment Plant. The scope consists of dewatering the pond, peeling back the existing XR-3 liner material, re-grading areas of the subgrade that have been eroded, inspecting and making liner repairs throughout the pond, and covering the bottom of the pond with approximately 2,000 CY of clean sand for ballast. COMANCO is working with the County currently to clean the pond in order to start working on the liner and subgrade. The team is led by superintendent Charlie Ingle, engineer Will Drury, and manager Matt Remmert. The project is scheduled to completed in February. Please enjoy some photographs of the dewatering and cleaning operation.
