A 12-man crew, led by Superintendent Chase Yarbrough, safely completed the installation of a 35,000 lb. manhole and 782 LF of 4”x 8” dual containment piping for the new 7-acre construction & debris landfill cell. A crane was used to hoist the massive manhole in place to begin the finalization of the Leachate Collection System (LCS). QA/QC Manager Greg Pignataro was on site to aid in the safe entry of the Manhole, and ensure that all entrants were taking the proper safety precautions while working in a confined space.
