Michael Phelps was on hand Saturday, April 28, for the grand opening of the ‘first official’ Crystal Lagoons® amenity at Epperson in Wesley Chapel, FL. Phelps is the global ambassador for Crystal Lagoons®, a water technology company providing crystalline lagoons using a patented ultrasonic filtration technology.
The grand opening featured a tropical-themed event with water ski shows and fly-boarding performances throughout the day and even mermaids in the lagoon. The attendees also enjoyed live music and food trucks.
The Epperson Lagoon has 7.5 acres of clear water where residents can swim, kayak, stand-up paddleboard and even use a small sailboat in clear turquoise water, steps away from their door.
COMANCO has partnered with Crystal Lagoons® on these unique projects which require the installation of a liner specially developed for these projects. COMANCO is proud to be a part of this milestone with the opening of the first man-made lagoon powered by Crystal Lagoons® technology in the United States.
