Today, COMANCO Superintendent Nathan Wilfong and his crew are installing 24” HDPE drainage pipe for the vertical expansion landfill closure. Nathan, along with several other COMANCO employees, attended training at McElroy University last year to increase their skills on small diameter, medium diameter, and large diameter pipe fusion. The training covered theory, proper fusion techniques, application tips, equipment design, troubleshooting resources, DOT requirements, preventative maintenance, ASTM standards and much more.
Nathan can be seen using McElroy’s Data Logger Reports to generate reports which are provided to the owner. This is the standard for COMANCO. Similar to earthwork operations utilizing surveys and liner installations abiding by GSI-GM and ASTM’s, owners can rely on COMANCO to thoroughly document its quality workmanship that meets and exceeds industry standards.
