COMANCO Knows Earthwork

Less than one month into the construction of a new landfill cell in Northeast Florida, COMANCO has made substantial headway. Under the supervision of Superintendent Chase Yarbrough, the COMANCO crew has removed 26,000 CY, cubic yards, of unsuitable material from the site, imported over 31,000 CY of fill, and installed more than 1,500 LF of silt fence to protect the area surrounding the site from sediment in storm water runoff.

In addition to Superintendent Chase Yarbrough, equipment operators, Charles Long and Misael Tovar, are helping to ensure the crew maintains a positive and safe work environment all while completing the tasks at hand in a timely, professional manner. In the upcoming months, the crew will import an additional 100,000 CY of fill, deploy geomembrane, GCL & geocomposite, and install HDPE pipe, roadways, and berms. Keep up the great work team!
