As part of COMANCO’s continuing efforts to develop relationships with Minority and Women-Owned Businesses, we hosted our first M/WBE Match-Making Event last night. Held at the Hyatt Place in Orlando, FL, Certified Orange County M/WBE Businesses were invited to attend and discover the exciting opportunities available with COMANCO. Highly qualified professionals with a wide array of capabilities attended this exciting event.
Project Development Administrator Dixie Lamoureux, Estimating/Operations Administrator Danielle Meador and Marketing Director Christine Thomas greeted guests and discussed the various scopes of work that would be needed on current and upcoming projects. Attendees had the opportunity to review plans and specifications for currently bidding projects and were also given copies to take with them.
The feedback received from attendees was tremendous. Fostering these new relationships will allow COMANCO to showcase the value of local M/WBE programs. We look forward to hosting future events and expanding our network of outstanding M/WBE subcontractors and suppliers.
