COMANCO Starts a Stormwater Improvement Project in Central Florida

COMANCO has started a stormwater improvement project in Central Florida at the Bradford County Landfill. The scope of work includes removing two old damaged 24inch CMP (Corrugated Metal Pipes) and replacing with two 24 inch HDPE ADS (Advanced Drainage Systems) pipes with a rip-rap outlet basin along with enhancements for the stormwater inlet with Fabriform, drain line clean outs, restoring inlet berms, and repairing damaged 30-mil PVC Liner.

Superintendent Matt Carroll and the skilled crew is working very cautiously not to disturb this landfill’s numerous existing underground utilities.  Matt made sure all underground utilities were located and marked before commencing work.

Great job by the team for coordinating heavy machinery while continually maintaining a high level of safety awareness.
