COMANCO’s UAV Program may be just getting off the ground but with attendance at the premier UAV Conference in the world, InterDrone 2017 we’re well on our way to a successful launch. COMANCO IT Manager, Matt DiTarando attended the fast-growing 3rd annual InterDrone 2017 conference in Las Vegas, Nevada. Hosted by the Rio All Suites Hotel the event drew a record shattering number of attendees. This relatively new but extremely important conference has grown in size by 10 times since its inaugural year.
With vendors and displays from all the industry leaders the event was a showcase of technology.
With keynotes this year by the current Administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration, Michael P. Huerta and Intel CEO, Brian M. Krzanich the conference was off to a great start. InterDrone 2017 has a focus on industry and tracks covering UAVs in Construction, Surveying and Mapping, Mining and Aggregates as well as Infrastructure Inspection were included to back current industry trends in Drone Usage.
The highlight of the event was the exciting keynote by Intel CEO Michael P. Huerta as he debuted the cutting edge Falcon 8+ Drone with RealSense™ technology.
