COMANCO has completed a design-build HDPE pond liner replacement at a Waste Water Treatment Plant in Ft. Myers, FL. In conjunction with JBM&R Engineering, COMANCO helped design a new geosynthetics system that included gas venting to mitigate the risk of potential bubbles forming in the pond. Superintendent David Haygood and Foreman Jorge Gomez led a crew that was tasked with removing the existing liner, re-grading the subgrade, and then installing the gas venting 200mil geocomposite and a 60mil High-Density Polyethylene geomembrane. The crew finished the project ahead of schedule, and with no safety incidents. Great job doing things the COMANCO way!
