COMANCO Environmental recently wrapped-up a partial landfill closure in Jacksonville, FL this week. Over 14 acres of 50-mi Super Gripnet LLDPE geomembrane and 8-oz/sy NW geotextile were deployed over a prepared sub-grade. In addition, over 100 pipe boots were installed around all the gas collection pipe penetrations and a 40-mil HDPE geomembrane protective rub-sheet was placed over the future tie-in areas. The crew led by Supervisor, Jorge Gomez, did a great job working through windy conditions while producing another quality product safely.
