COMANCO has been awarded the Citrus County Department of Public Works / Division of Solid Waste Management – Landfill Phase 3, Cell Fire Damage Repair project. On March 9, 2013 a fire broke out at the Landfill which has resulted in damage to the liner system and the leachate collection system for the Phase 3 cell. This event required the disposal operations of the landfill to relocate operations to the limited available space on the Phase 2 cell until the repair work is complete. COMANCO was the original contractor for the Phase 3 cell construction. Please be sure to check back for progress photos once the work commences.
