COMANCO was in attendance at the Annual Coal Combustion Residuals Conference in Orlando, FL, June 10 & 11. The conference provided attendees with potential Ash Management Plans which addressed the challenges and costs associated with the new regulations. A tour of the Orlando Utilities Commission’s new impoundment at their Stanton Energy Center occurred on Day 2 of the Conference, which allowed COMANCO to inspect a state-of-the-art facility prior to full operations.
